Hello, my name is Ms. Trisha Combes. I am so excited to be going into my fourth year teaching at Hawthorn Academy.  I am excited to be moving into 2nd grade.  I have been with Hawthorn Academy for 17 years.  I started out as the 1st Grade TA, and spent years coordinating Hawthorn Academy’s Reading Intervention Program.

I graduated from Utah State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Human Development, with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. I finished the APPEL program and received my Professional Teaching License in July of 2024.

I have 2 kids, Megan and Andrew, both of which attended Hawthorn Academy for their elementary and middle school years.  I enjoy doing genealogy, reading, and traveling.
