You can use this page to understand the registration process for new and returning students, as well as related documents.
New students wishing to enroll at Hawthorn need to enter our lottery during open enrollment, which begins December 1st. Our first lottery pull is held the first Wednesday of January for priority groups, the second Wednesday of January for transfer students, and the general lottery group is run on the third Wednesday of January. Utah law requires students to present a birth certificate when enrolling a student in a new school. Information on obtaining a copy of a birth certificate can be found here.
Parents and guardians of returning students will receive an email in December instructing them to register their student for the upcoming school year through Skyward. Registration begins December 5th and must be completed for each student by the last Wednesday of January in order to secure a returning placement.
