Hello! My name is Ms. Puerto, and I am honored to return to Hawthorn Academy for another exciting school year, this year serving as the Assistant Principal at the South Campus.

This is my eighth year in education, and I have had the privilege of teaching multiple grade levels at Hawthorn Academy South Jordan. Most recently, I completed an administrative internship at Hawthorn Academy West Jordan K–9 during the spring of 2026. I hold a Bachelor's degree from the University of Utah and a Master's degree from Western Governors University.

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, skiing in the winter, jet skiing in the summer, caring for my many houseplants, and spending quality time with my family.

I look forward to partnering with our faculty, students, and families to make this a rewarding, enriching, and successful year for everyone.
