Hello everyone! My name is Ms. Egege. I was born in Oregon and raised in the Midwest, in Nebraska, which helped shape who I am today. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University–Idaho, and I feel truly grateful to be teaching another year at Hawthorn Academy. It is such a special place, and I feel lucky to be part of this community.

Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my family and friends. Some of my favorite memories come from traveling together and experiencing new cultures—especially through trying different kinds of food!

Teaching is something I care deeply about, and I want every student to feel seen, supported, and encouraged in our classroom. My door is always open, and I genuinely welcome any questions, concerns, or conversations at any time.

I am really looking forward to a wonderful year of learning and growing together!
